Again, we have out part to do,THEN He will do His part to bless us. And many people believe we are to be afraid of God, however, usually when you see the word fear of the LORD, it means to RESPECT, HONOR, have REVERENCE for. Unfortunately, these are words that many in this world do not understand nor practice any more. It would behoove us to study up on these words and then to put them into practice. #ValueofWisdom

My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Do you want long life, peace and prosperity? This is not saying that we still won't go through times of hardship and bad things happening. He is saying that if you will follow His instructions that even through those times, you can still have peace in your heart and prosper. When we walk in love and faithfulness HIS FAVOR & GOODNESS follows! My son, if you accept my words and store up [treasure] my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures;
Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair--every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. Proverbs 2:1-11 Are you needing wisdom for a particular situation? His Word shows us how to get Wisdom and Understanding. Get into the Word. Search the scriptures, pray and listen for Him. He will show you the way. Proverbs 12:16-22
Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult. An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies. The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment. Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil, but those who promote peace have joy. No harm overtakes the righteous, but the wicked have their fill of trouble. The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy. A fool shows their annoyance immediately but an honest prudent person overlooks insults. So much is said in these verses about our tongue and words and truth or lies. Do we plot evil or promote peace? The Lord delights in people who are trustworthy. Can you be trusted? How do you speak to others? Be wise speak truth, peace, love, promote joy! #PromoteJoy Proverbs 11:25-30
The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. The people will curse him who withholds grain, But blessing will be on the head of him who sells it. He who earnestly seeks good finds favor, But trouble will come to him who seeks evil. He who trusts in his riches will fall, But the righteous will flourish like foliage. He who troubles his own house will inherit the wind, And the fool will be servant to the wise of heart. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise. Is your soul generous? Do you earnstly seek good? Do you trust in your own riches? If your soul is generous, if you seek good and not evil, if you trust in the Lord and His riches you will attain the tree of life! Because you have sought the Lord and His righteousness with your whole being. Pride causes shame but the humble is wisdom. #TreeofLife Proverbs 10:11-15
The mouth of the righteous is a well of life, But violence covers the mouth of the wicked. Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins. Wisdom is found on the lips of him who has understanding, But a rod is for the back of him who is devoid of understanding. Wise people store up knowledge, But the mouth of the foolish is near destruction. The rich man’s wealth is his strong city; The destruction of the poor is their poverty. How we use our mouth determines how the Lord rewards us. If we choose to be righteous, (In right standing with the Lord) our mouth is a well of "life". Love covers ALL sin wisdom is found on our lips. We become wise and store up knowledge. Choose this day how you will use your words, for life or death! For knowledge and wisdom! 8 Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. 9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. 10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. 11 For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you. Fear of the Lord is just the beginning of wisdom. Then the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. This will multiply your days and years of your life. We need to come to the Lord daily, in His Word, through prayer, and fellowship with other believers in Christ. “Now therefore, listen to me, my children, For blessed are those who keep my ways. 33 Hear instruction and be wise, And do not disdain it. 34 Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors. 35 For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord; 36 But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death.” As we (Hear) listen to the Word of the Lord it gives us instruction to be wise. We are blessed if we keep His ways. We find life by listening, watching and waiting on the Lord. In that giving of life we obtain favor. But those who hate God love death and it's sin causes sorrow to the Lord. He loves each of us and wants us to keep His ways for our benefit. #HearBeWise Proverbs 6:16-21
16 These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: 17 A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, 19 A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren. 20 My son, keep your father’s command, And do not forsake the law of your mother. 21 Bind them continually upon your heart; Tie them around your neck. If the Lord hates these "six things" and seven are an abomination to Him, MAYBE we should NOT to them. Instead we should keep His commands and do not forsake His law. The Value of Wisdom 2 My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, 2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; 3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, 4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; Once we ask for wisdom and recieve it, let us understand the value of it. Every word from the mouth of God comes knowlege and understanding. We must READ the Word, all of it from Genesus to Revelation. So reading from the Bibe every day this New Year will let you understand the value of it. I pray you will take time each day to gain knowledge and understanding from the Father and you may WALK in it! 20 So you may walk in the way of goodness, And keep to the paths of righteousness. 21 For the upright will dwell in the land, And the blameless will remain in it; #WalkinVictory |
