Exodus 14:12-16
Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.” And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. It takes courage to stand still and see what the Lord is doing. When we don't see any result immediate or long term we must have courage to "Be" still and continue in prayer and reading the Word, Bible. The Lord is always at work for us and through us if we stand strong in faith. The Egyptians we afraid and wanted to run NOT wait and have courage for the Lord to bring miraculous wonders to them. We must have courage, stand still for the glory of the Lord to appear!

Job 42:10-17
And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the Lord had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold. Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys. He also had seven sons and three daughters. And he called the name of the first Jemimah, the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch. In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job; and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers. After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations. So Job died, old and full of days. Then Lord restored to Job twice as much as he had before. Can the Lord do that for you? YES! Do you believe he can? Are you trusting Him for the time and place for it to be manifested? I ask myself the same questions and I say YES! I am trusting! Yes I am believing for the RV the Lord has planned. Yes I can wait upon Him for the answer. We let our RV go in 2007. He can restore twice as much as before! Numbers 9:15-23
The Cloud and the Fire Now on the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the Testimony; from evening until morning it was above the tabernacle like the appearance of fire. So it was always: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, after that the children of Israel would journey; and in the place where the cloud settled, there the children of Israel would pitch their tents. At the command of the Lord the children of Israel would journey, and at the command of the Lord they would camp; as long as the cloud stayed above the tabernacle they remained encamped. Even when the cloud continued long, many days above the tabernacle, the children of Israel kept the charge of the Lord and did not journey. So it was, when the cloud was above the tabernacle a few days: according to the command of the Lord they would remain encamped, and according to the command of the Lord they would journey. So it was, when the cloud remained only from evening until morning: when the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they would journey; whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud was taken up, they would journey. Whether it was two days, a month, or a year that the cloud remained above the tabernacle, the children of Israel would remain encamped and not journey; but when it was taken up, they would journey. At the command of the Lord they remained encamped, and at the command of the Lord they journeyed; they kept the charge of the Lord, at the command of the Lord by the hand of Moses. We too are keeping the command of the Lord. To follow Him, when to journey on and when to stay. Pray with us that as the Lord leads and provides He will be glorified! ![]() Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Today we say 3 eagles while rafting the Yellowstone in Montana. What an awesome sight to see them in flight as one took off from their nest. As we wait on the Lord we too shall fly like eagles delivering God's Word to the nations! Thank you for your steadfast prayers for Bible Reading Ministry International. |
