Proverbs 3:1-10
3 My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; 2 For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you. 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, 4 And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. 8 It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. 9 Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. Here in the first 10 verses is wisdom for the young in age, or young in maturity. When we are you we think we know it all but...the Lord sys to remember His law and keep His commands. This is wisdom for all our lives. When we trust in the Lord with all our heart lean on His understanding and not our own acknowledging all His ways He will direct our paths. When we fear the Lord and depart from evil it will be health to us and strength for us. It goes on to tell us to honor the Lord with our possessions, our first fruits of ALL our increase. In God's economy the key to financial increase is 'GIVING'! We have no control God alone is our source! #KeyToFinancialIncrease #Giving

Proverbs 2:2-6
The Value of Wisdom 2 My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, 2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; 3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, 4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; Once we ask for wisdom and recieve it, let us understand the value of it. Every word from the mouth of God comes knowlege and understanding. We must READ the Word, all of it from Genesus to Revelation. So reading from the Bibe every day this New Year will let you understand the value of it. I pray you will take time each day to gain knowledge and understanding from the Father and you may WALK in it! 20 So you may walk in the way of goodness, And keep to the paths of righteousness. 21 For the upright will dwell in the land, And the blameless will remain in it; #WalkinVictory Ecclesiastes 5:18-20
Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage. As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God. For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart. God wants His people to enjoy their lives. It is true that He has a plan and a purpose for you, which includes ministry and outreach to others; but God also wants His people to enjoy the blessings He has given them. God wants His people to relax and enjoy the fruit of their hard work. True spirituality is not just defined by praying, reading the Bible, going o church. It is also spiritual to enjoy the life you have as a gift from God. This is all said AFTER the verses 8-17 where it talks about the vanity of Gain and Honor. Our love for the Lord brings joy to our heart and God keeps us busy doing His will. Numbers 33:50-53
Instructions for the Conquest of Canaan Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across fromJericho, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you have crossed the Jordan into the land of Canaan, then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their engraved stones, destroy all their molded images, and demolish all their high places; you shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land and dwell in it, for I have given you the land to possess. We must go back and read verses 1 through 37 of this chapter to see the journeys of the Israelites. Then compare with America's journey through many trials and struggles in the past. Now the Lord spoke to Moses instructions to conquer the land of Canaan. We can see how we must conquer the land of America in the spiritual realm. We MUST DRIVE ut all the evil spirits from before us and destroy the idols, lust of money and power, greed, any thing in our lives that keeps us from hearing and obeying he Lord in our lives. God gave us this land and we must possess it with our prayers of His Word for victory over the enemy. What scripture do you know and meditate on when you are in need of help? For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me. The Thorn in the Flesh And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Signs of an Apostle I have become a fool in boasting; you have compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you; for in nothing was I behind the most eminent apostles, though I am nothing. Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds. The "Thorne in the Flesh" described here by Paul could be many difficulties but for me it speaks volumes as to any physical inability to do work on my own strength the same as "normal" people do. Due to my limitations from the diagnosis of MS (Multiple Sclerosis) I boast in my infirmities for when I am weak the Lord is strong and His grace is sufficient for me. His strength overcomes my weakness, (difficulties) and He is praised. But I must choose to allow His strength to be released by my surrender to His plan. Please forgive me for not being diligent to put the Word of the Lord out to you each and every day. I know through the power of the Holy Spirit I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble. To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defense, My God of mercy. Did you begin your day right today? David knew the right way to begin his day. Through worshiping and singing out loud about God's goodness, David wanted to walk in God's presence from the moment he got out of bed. He wanted to be clothed in God's power and strength. David wrote this under incredible pressure but he had learned the power that can be released when we worship God, even in the midst of trouble. #RightWay #WorshiptheLord #HisStrength Revelation 2:12-17
The Compromising Church “And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, ‘These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”’ Upon receiving Christ and being an overcomer we have a "New Name"! Here the Lord promises to give the faithful a white stone. This points to our freedom in Christ a "non guilty" verdict. Who do you know that needs that "white stone"? Is the Lord asking you to speak and share His love with someone today? #NotGuilty #overcomer #OurNewName #ChristinYou Ephesians 2:1-10
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. What "Way of Life" will you choose? The way of the world OR the way of Victory? God prepared beforehand the way to walk in victory. He made us to be alive with Him and dead to sin. BUT...we must walk in His way of life. We have His power to overcome the prince of the air. We are alive together with Christ. We are His workmanship, created for good works. Choose to "Walk in Victory" every day! Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” Jesus says we live by EVERY WORD from God. We are nourished by the Words in the Bible. Today we have been nourished by the hearing of the Word at the Bible reading marathon in Detroit Lakes, MN. The Word also tells us faith comes by hear and hearing by the Word of God. Our faith has increased PRAISE THE LORD! 2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Thank you Lord that I can trust you to remove or change any of my weaknesses and handicaps and shortcomings the moment they are no longer needed for your glory, and for my good and for the good of other people...and in the meantime, your grace is sufficient for me, for your strength is made perfect in my weakness. |
