Acts 1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
I love the unity and harmony of the eleven. That's what spiritual leadership needs.
We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.” For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.
Today we have another opportunity to join with others for the International Day of the Bible – Monday, Nov. 14 at 12-noon local time. It tells us here in Romans we should receive one another just as Christ received us. This brings Him glory! Hallelujah! Reading the Bible out loud in our homes. churches and communities changes the atmosphere and Isa 55:11 becomes a reality. To God be the glory!

1 Corinthians 12:27
Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
We are individuals but also members of His body. How amazing to realize we are one of many. all unique, all special, all a part of Him! Hallelujah!
Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Unity in the body of Christ is when like minded believers get together in humility knowing they are nothing without Christ and seek His will for them. We need to gather together, we need to pursue holiness together, we need to seek His kingdom, we need to believe in His power, we must receive His gifts and be gracious to each other in brotherly love! Today seek God and join with others!
Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love,being of one accord, of one mind.
God ask us to be like-minded, loving Him above all else, being in one accord, not selfish but selfless. Through this humility we are in unity with each other and with Him as the head. Seek unity through humility!
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.
Isn't it wonderful that God blessed "them"! Both Adam and Eve together He blessed. As a married couple we must recognize that God blessed both of them together, not one more than the other but both equally for the purpose that He made them. Grab ahold of this truth that both partners are blessed!
Independence or dependence? Yesterday we celebrated America's Independence. I pray everyday we celebrate our Dependence on our Almighty God. Without God we can do nothing! Yes enjoy our 4th of July celebrations but keep God first. Pray for a Nation "dependent on God"!
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all
Continue your walk in unity with the Father and the body of Christ.
Proverbs 3:5-7 (NKJV)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
Only God's wisdom can rightly decide anything. Strive for harmony within. Keep in the Word!
Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.
Be United, Joyful, and in Prayer I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
We (the beloved of the Lord) need to be of the same mind (like minded, in unity) one with another. We must put on love to be like minded. Look at yesterdays word. Jesus is love. When we put on Jesus we are like Him and we have love one for another. Try it on for size i believe it fits all who will receive.
