Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips. Psalm 63:3-5
Praise Him in the morning, Praise Him in the noontime, Praise Him in the evening, Praise Him, Praise Him, Praise Him! SIMPLY GRATEFUL! #Praise ...to give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Psalm 61:3
The Hebrew root for "garment" shows praise as more than a piece of clothing casually thrown over our shoulders. It literally teaches us "to wrap" or "cover" ourselves--that the garment of praise is to leave no openings through which hostile elements can penetrate. This garment of praise repels and replaces the heavy spirit. This special message of instruction and hope is for those oppressed by feat or doubt. "Put on" this garment. A warm coat from our closet only resists the cold wind when it is "put on." when distressed, be dressed---with praise! Act according to God's Word. SIMPLY GRATEFUL! #GarmentofPraise I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. Psalm145:1-3
Are you praising Him always even in the midst of your circumstances? I have found this one thing to be true. No matter the situation or how I feel, praising Him ALWAYS brings me back to where I need to be; Praising Him! #Praise It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness in the evening. Psalm 92: 1-2
Do you wake up giving thanks and praising the Lord for allowing you to have another day? Thanking Him for another day to do right and to bless others? Do you end your day with with thankfulness to the Lord for being faithful to see you through the day. For His protection and His favor throughout the day? His LOVE is from everlasting to everlasting and that alone gives us reason to be Thankful and to Praise Him! Psalm 27:6-10
6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. 7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. 8 When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.” 9 Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. 10 When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the Lord will take care of me. The Lord will take care of you, even if your mother or father forsake you God will not. He hears our cry. He has mercy on us. He will not turn His servant away. Oh sing praises to our God! Lift your voice and give Him glory! Psalm 142
A Plea for Relief from Persecutors I cry out to the Lord with my voice; With my voice to the Lord I make my supplication. I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare before Him my trouble. When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, Then You knew my path. In the way in which I walk They have secretly set a snare for me. Look on my right hand and see, For there is no one who acknowledges me; Refuge has failed me; No one cares for my soul. I cried out to You, O Lord: I said, “You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living. Attend to my cry, For I am brought very low; Deliver me from my persecutors, For they are stronger than I. Bring my soul out of prison, That I may praise Your name; The righteous shall surround me, For You shall deal bountifully with me.” Have you cried out to the Lord? Are you felling persecuted today by family, friends, other believers? Pour our your heart to God. He knows how you feel. But know that God loves you and is waiting for you to ask Him for relief. Why? So when relief comes we know it's from the Lord. We will praise Him as He gives us strength to carry on. We show Him our love for Him by forgiving our persecutors, praying for them and being filled with joy and peace knowing He is in control and "All is well". The Lord is our deliverer, our provider, our strength, and our refuge. Be a blessing and you will be blessed. #Persecuted #Forgiven #Delivered #BeaBlessing #BeBlessed Psalm 37:1-11
1 Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. 7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret--it only causes harm. 9 For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth. 10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more. 11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. I am strengthened by your Word Lord. You not only hold me up but you care so deeply for me. Thank you God! Your word gives me many reminders of how great and awesome you are! Exodus 17:11-14
And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.” Moses had help from 2 friends to help hold up his hands during battle. We also need help from one another in our spiritual/earthly battles against the enemy. We can give support through prayer and through physical means. The holding up of hands gives us a good indication of raising "Holy" hands during our worship to the Lord. With hands raised in praise and worship the enemy is defeated in the invisible realm. Will you support one another? Pray and Act! Psalm 71:5-14
For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth. By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise shall be continually of You. I have become as a wonder to many, But You are my strong refuge. Let my mouth be filled with Your praise And with Your glory all the day. Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails. For my enemies speak against me; And those who lie in wait for my life take counsel together, Saying, “God has forsaken him; Pursue and take him, for there is none to deliver him.” O God, do not be far from me; O my God, make haste to help me! Let them be confounded and consumed Who are adversaries of my life; Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor Who seek my hurt. But I will hope continually, And will praise You yet more and more. Count your many blessings count them one by one count your many blessings see what the Lord has done!! |
