Colossians 3:12-17
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. When we read , study and listen to the Word of God and allow it to penetrate and get into our inner mind and heart, we will discover an awesome spiritual power has been released into our lives. Will you choose to read and study the Word and worship the Lord daily? We are the elect of God IF we choose Christ and allow His character to come forth in or lives. Ephesians 2:14-18
For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Isn't it great to know thru Him we are one new man and we have peace and access by one spirit to our FATHER! Hallelujah ! We must model Christ likeness in our relationships always placing others above ourselves. Christ first others second, we must be wiling to lay down our lives for our friends allowing God's love and peace to govern all our relationships. Be blessed to be a blessing! |
