I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, an that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing. John 15:11
Can you see what our obedience brings? Joy, gladness, peace.....so that we are filled completely, with full measure and overflowing! Can you see how much He loves us? Now then, why would we want anything else? We can choose to have joy temporarily the world's way or we can choose to have eternal joy, eternal gladness, eternal peace! Again, it is our choice! SIMPLY GRATEFUL! #Joy

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy....Galatians 5:22-23
No matter the trials or tribulations we face in our day to day lives, we can still have JOY. It is the JOY we have knowing that Christ died for us. It is the Joy we have knowing that we are His. It is the JOY we have knowing that He is always with us. SIMPLY GRATEFUL! #Fruit2Joy John 16:16-24
“A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father.” Then some of His disciples said among themselves, “What is this that He says to us, ‘A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me’; and, ‘because I go to the Father’?” They said therefore, “What is this that He says, ‘A little while’? We do not know what He is saying.” Now Jesus knew that they desired to ask Him, and He said to them, “Are you inquiring among yourselves about what I said, ‘A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me’? Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you. “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. Are you grateful for all you have? Or are you just wanting more?? When we are grateful for ALL that we have we spread joy to others. A smile, being friendly, going out of our way to help others, humming songs, being kind! Our gratitude for what we have makes us joyful and happy to spread that joy to others. Weather we have plenty or lack we can choose to be grateful for all God's blessings! Matthew 16:13-20
13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” 14 So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” 20 Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ. Jesus is still asking today "Who do YOU say I am?" We need to know the answer to this question for ourselves, for others when they ask us, for Him! Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever! He is, He was, and He will forever BE! Is He your Lord? Savior? Friend? Is His Word spoken in your life and His promises declared over your situations, trouble, trials, and JOY? Make Christ the Son of the living God your answer today and everyday. He loves you and is waiting for you to ask Him into your life. ![]() Psalm 122 I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.” Our feet have been standing Within your gates, O Jerusalem! Jerusalem is built As a city that is compact together, Where the tribes go up, The tribes of the Lord, To the Testimony of Israel, To give thanks to the name of the Lord. For thrones are set there for judgment, The thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces.” For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good. Oh what a joy to go to the house of the Lord! To give thanks to God! To hear a word from the Lord! To pray for the peace of Jerusalem! To fellowship with others! Our God is good! He reigns on high! Praise His Name! Ezra 3:10-13
When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, the priests stood in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise the Lord, according to the ordinance of David king of Israel. And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever toward Israel.” Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. But many of the priests and Levites and heads of the fathers’ houses, old men who had seen the first temple, wept with a loud voice when the foundation of this temple was laid before their eyes. Yet many shouted aloud for joy, 13 so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people, for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the sound was heard afar off. Many times we experience "tears and laughter" over the seeing of family or friends. We can bring all our emotions as praise to the Lord because they bring smiles to Him who loves us. Our emotions express our love and worship to Him, may they touch those around us too. Numbers 7:1-9
Now it came to pass, when Moses had finished setting up the tabernacle, that he anointed it and consecrated it and all its furnishings, and the altar and all its utensils; so he anointed them and consecrated them. Then the leaders of Israel, the heads of their fathers’ houses, who were the leaders of the tribes and over those who were numbered, made an offering. And they brought their offering before the Lord, six covered carts and twelve oxen, a cart for every two of the leaders, and for each one an ox; and they presented them before the tabernacle. Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Accept these from them, that they may be used in doing the work of the tabernacle of meeting; and you shall give them to the Levites, toevery man according to his service.” So Moses took the carts and the oxen, and gave them to the Levites. Two carts and four oxen he gave to the sons of Gershon, according to their service; and four carts and eight oxen he gave to the sons of Merari, according to their service, under the authority[a] of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest. But to the sons of Kohath he gave none, because theirs was the service of the holy things, which they carried on their shoulders. Are you a leader? Do you have a heavy load? I can say yes to both of these questions, but I also know the load is for the work of the kingdom of God. I know it is for the service of Christ that they seem heavy and the Lord takes the burden upon Him and revives me of stress and struggle and turns it into JOY! Hallelujah! #joyoftheLord #struggle #offeringsofleader Psalm 118:24
This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Everyday is a time to rejoice in the Lord. His goodness, mercy, grace and unconditional Love. Be Happy Trust in the Lord! #BeHappy#Rejoice#Beautifulday Genesis 5:1-3
This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. Honoring God by reading His Word together with family is a double blessing. As we celebrate Jesus and His resurrection let us be with family as was His plan from the beginning. That is the theme of our float in the Celebrate Jesus parade this weekend. May we continue the celebration each day! 1 John 3:1-3
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. Treasure each other in the recognition that we do not know how long we shall have each other in this life. Share your hope in God with all you treasure! Love unconditionally, Laugh together, Forgive ALL hurts and offenses. Be the child of God He wants you to BE. |
