Because I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will CALL upon Me and go and PRAY to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will SEEK Me and find Me, when you SEARCH for Me with ALL your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13
Did you notice what we are suppose to do? CALL, PRAY, SEEK, FIND, SEARCH, ALL. THEN, I will listen to you, THEN you will find me. Like it or not God is a conditional God. When we do our part (obedience), THEN He is always FAITHFUL to do His. Blessings!

Proverbs 11:25-30
The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. The people will curse him who withholds grain, But blessing will be on the head of him who sells it. He who earnestly seeks good finds favor, But trouble will come to him who seeks evil. He who trusts in his riches will fall, But the righteous will flourish like foliage. He who troubles his own house will inherit the wind, And the fool will be servant to the wise of heart. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise. Is your soul generous? Do you earnstly seek good? Do you trust in your own riches? If your soul is generous, if you seek good and not evil, if you trust in the Lord and His riches you will attain the tree of life! Because you have sought the Lord and His righteousness with your whole being. Pride causes shame but the humble is wisdom. #TreeofLife 2 Kings 2:5-12
Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” So he answered, “Yes, I know; keep silent!” Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to the Jordan. But he said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So the two of them went on. And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood facing them at a distance, while the two of them stood by the Jordan. Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground. And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.” So he said, “You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.” Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces. When Elisha asked for a double portion of Elijah's spirit, he knew he needed more of the Lord to go and continue Elijah's work. We too know we need more of the Holy Spirit to continue the Lord's work through us and we must ask to recieve. As you humble yourself before almighty God and ask for a double portion be ready to receive and GO FORTH! 1 Chronicles 17:16
“Who am I, O Lord God? And what is my house, that You have brought me this far? We all have dreams and goals but what is more important --achieving our hopes and dreams or our love for God? Father, I commit all my hopes and dreams to You. Thank you for bringing me this far. You mean more to me than anything in the world. Philippians 2:1-4
Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. This passage reflects God's heart that ALL His people live together in harmony. Yes here on earth we must humbly walk with each other in love, unconditionally esteeming others better than ourselves. Having their interests more important than ours. Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. I praise you Lord for how you use my sins and failures to humble me, for how this opens me for the inflow of your grace--amazing grace, that enables me to hold my head high, not in pride, but in humble gratitude for your undeserved, unchanging love and total cleansing! #amazinggrace #trustingtheLord Mark 14:50
Then they all forsook Him and fled. When all Christ's followers deserted Him He was lonely. Have you ever felt lonely? Deserted? Yet Christ gave the task of bringing His message to mankind to those who fled. Not only until man has failed can he learn true humility. And only the humble can inherit the earth.
Unity in the body of Christ is when like minded believers get together in humility knowing they are nothing without Christ and seek His will for them. We need to gather together, we need to pursue holiness together, we need to seek His kingdom, we need to believe in His power, we must receive His gifts and be gracious to each other in brotherly love! Today seek God and join with others! James 4:7-10
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse yourhands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. 3 things we need everyday, 1)Submit to God 2)Resist the devil 3)Draw near to God. As we do these 3 things we receive cleansing, purification and humility. God then lifts us up and we are filled with joy! Draw near to God each day and He will draw near to you. Ephesians 5:15-21
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God. Walking in wisdom helps us understand the will of the Lord. As we are filled with the spirit we have music in our heart. The joy bubbles over into every part of our life. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. FEAR (reverence, awe) |
