Philippians 2:5-9
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, In Ecclesiastes 1:3 What profit has a man from all his labor In which he toils under the sun? it looks as if our labor makes no difference to God. But that contradicts the main reason God came to earth. So the answer "Do I matter?" Jesus is indeed the answer according to the gospels. If you are overwhelmed, lonely, in pain or any need run to Jesus He is the answer. YOU matter to Him. He loves you so much He laid down His life for you! Receive Him today! #DoIMatter #JesusistheAnswer

2 Corinthians 12:6-12
For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me. The Thorn in the Flesh And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Signs of an Apostle I have become a fool in boasting; you have compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you; for in nothing was I behind the most eminent apostles, though I am nothing. Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds. The "Thorne in the Flesh" described here by Paul could be many difficulties but for me it speaks volumes as to any physical inability to do work on my own strength the same as "normal" people do. Due to my limitations from the diagnosis of MS (Multiple Sclerosis) I boast in my infirmities for when I am weak the Lord is strong and His grace is sufficient for me. His strength overcomes my weakness, (difficulties) and He is praised. But I must choose to allow His strength to be released by my surrender to His plan. Please forgive me for not being diligent to put the Word of the Lord out to you each and every day. I know through the power of the Holy Spirit I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Hallelujah! #MyGift #ThornintheFlesh #GodsGrace #SurrenderMyWill Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. We may not always see eye to eye the value of a true friend is what I have with my husband, Jess. Two is always better than one! He lifts me up and I am warm when I am with him. As we stay together by the grace of God He is our third strand and we are not quickly broken. I am looking forward to everyday I wake up with him. #loveofmylife #myfriend #truefriendJesus James 1:1-8
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. Jams tell us that wisdom is grown in the soil of hardship, for there we not only learn from the wisdom of God, we rest in the grace of God. Acts 9:3-9
As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.” So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one. Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. What a glorious sight to see "a light from heaven". Saul (Paul) did not see the glory and was trembling. He knew it was the Lord whom he had been persecuting. A dramatic change took place on that day, when the "Light from Heaven" shone all around him. That same light is in you and me IF we accept Christ as our Lord and savior and follow Him. Choose today whom you will serve. #serveChrist #GloryoftheLord #LightfromHeaven 2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Thank you Lord that I can trust you to remove or change any of my weaknesses and handicaps and shortcomings the moment they are no longer needed for your glory, and for my good and for the good of other people...and in the meantime, your grace is sufficient for me, for your strength is made perfect in my weakness. |
