Psalm 119:97-105
Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, Because I keep Your precepts. I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I may keep Your word. I have not departed from Your judgments, For You Yourself have taught me. How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. Reading and mediating on the Word of God unravels the mysteries! Oh how wonderful to gain understanding from the Lord, "His Word". The journey awaits us everyday. Do we long for the time we spend in His Word? Do we enjoy His presence through the reading of His Word? If you want more of Jesus READ His Word, Meditate on it all day! Then YOU will gain understanding and treasure the time inn His presence. The Lord longs for you to come to Him. His Word lights the path and directs our feet. #UnravealingTheMysteries

What comes to mind when you think of God's law? It is easy to see it as an ancient set of codes that no longer apply to us. However, we have an opportunity for rich discovery when we study His laws. We are reminded that ALL of God's laws are not only good but also for our good. His laws reflect His character and enable us to value what He values. And when we are obedient to value what He values THEN we can expect His blessings to be poured out upon our lives. |
