Zephaniah 3:17 (NKJV)
The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Yes the Lord is in YOUR midst. He will save you. Will you rejoice over others that are saved? Can you hear His singing over you?

Galatians 3:1-9
O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do itby the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. Paul showed that Abraham pleased God through his faith and that the law did not even exist in Abraham's time. True children of Abraham and heirs to the promised blessing are those who live by the principles of faith. Do you believe? 2 Corinthians 5:18-6:2
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christand gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 6 As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation Looking ahead towards 2017 I am reminded NOW is the time for God's FAVOR! We live in a time that salvation is available to all who will believe, trust and ask for forgiveness. Jesus is waiting Your time is NOW! Allow God's favor to touch your heart, heal your hurts and bring transformation of your life to a life bringing honor and glory to the Lord! #GodsFavorNow Matthew 16:13-20
13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” 14 So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” 20 Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ. Jesus is still asking today "Who do YOU say I am?" We need to know the answer to this question for ourselves, for others when they ask us, for Him! Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever! He is, He was, and He will forever BE! Is He your Lord? Savior? Friend? Is His Word spoken in your life and His promises declared over your situations, trouble, trials, and JOY? Make Christ the Son of the living God your answer today and everyday. He loves you and is waiting for you to ask Him into your life. 2 Corinthians 12:6-12
For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me. The Thorn in the Flesh And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Signs of an Apostle I have become a fool in boasting; you have compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you; for in nothing was I behind the most eminent apostles, though I am nothing. Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds. The "Thorne in the Flesh" described here by Paul could be many difficulties but for me it speaks volumes as to any physical inability to do work on my own strength the same as "normal" people do. Due to my limitations from the diagnosis of MS (Multiple Sclerosis) I boast in my infirmities for when I am weak the Lord is strong and His grace is sufficient for me. His strength overcomes my weakness, (difficulties) and He is praised. But I must choose to allow His strength to be released by my surrender to His plan. Please forgive me for not being diligent to put the Word of the Lord out to you each and every day. I know through the power of the Holy Spirit I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Hallelujah! #MyGift #ThornintheFlesh #GodsGrace #SurrenderMyWill Psalm 121
God the Help of Those Who Seek Him I will lift up my eyes to the hills-- From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. 3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. 4 Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. 6 The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore. Have confidence God shall preserve your going out and your coming in. Every meeting He has set for you. Be obedient to go and follow His leading with confidence He has made a way and He will be glorified. Our help comes from the Lord! Mark 8:14-21
14 Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, and they did not have more than one loaf with them in the boat. 15 Then He charged them, saying, “Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.” 16 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “It is because we have no bread.” 17 But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, “Why do you reason because you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened? 18 Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember? 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up?” They said to Him, “Twelve.” 20 “Also, when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of fragments did you take up?” And they said, “Seven.” 21 So He said to them, “How is it you do not understand?” So many times God gives us reminders of His love, His provision, His mercy, His grace and yet we still sometimes do not understand, WHY? Do we doubt His love for us? Do we feel unworthy of His mercy? Do we not love others as we should? It tells us IF "God is for us WHO can be against us." WE MUST BELIEVE IN HIM! We ask for wisdom and He freely gives to us. The Lord Almighty reigns! He is for us! No weapon formed against us shall prosper! RECEIVE! REJOICE! UNDERSTAND! Joel 2:1-5
The Day of the Lord 1 Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand: 2 A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations. 3 A fire devours before them, And behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, And behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them. 4 Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; And like swift steeds, so they run. 5 With a noise like chariots Over mountaintops they leap, Like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, Like a strong people set in battle array. What will happen when the trumpet sounds? Are you ready? Is everyone you care about ready? The trumpet will sound! The Lord will return! We must be ready. We must share the Lord with ALL and choose repentance and salvation. Believe in the Lord and Receive His gift. Ask for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and witness to others. The trumpet will sound! The Day of the Lord is at hand! #TrumpetSound #Lord'sReturn #SoundtheAlarm 2 Kings 2:5-12
Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” So he answered, “Yes, I know; keep silent!” Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to the Jordan. But he said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So the two of them went on. And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood facing them at a distance, while the two of them stood by the Jordan. Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground. And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.” So he said, “You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.” Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces. When Elisha asked for a double portion of Elijah's spirit, he knew he needed more of the Lord to go and continue Elijah's work. We too know we need more of the Holy Spirit to continue the Lord's work through us and we must ask to recieve. As you humble yourself before almighty God and ask for a double portion be ready to receive and GO FORTH! Mark 11:24
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Why do we ask in prayer and then not believe? Jesus tells us to believe and we shall receive what we ask. Do we think we are unworthy? Yes we are BUT.... by His grace we are His children and He freely gives to us. If we ask with the right heart, motive. Is your heart right? Do you believe? Then Receive!!! |
