Acts 9:3-9
As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.” So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one. Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. What a glorious sight to see "a light from heaven". Saul (Paul) did not see the glory and was trembling. He knew it was the Lord whom he had been persecuting. A dramatic change took place on that day, when the "Light from Heaven" shone all around him. That same light is in you and me IF we accept Christ as our Lord and savior and follow Him. Choose today whom you will serve. #serveChrist #GloryoftheLord #LightfromHeaven

Psalm 119:39-41
Turn away my reproach which I dread, For Your judgments are good. Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness. Let Your mercies come also to me, O Lord-- Your salvation according to Your word. Oh God how we long for your precepts please Lord revive in us Your righteousness! Amen Ephesians 5:8-14
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.” When we walk in light we expose the darkness. We walk in the light when we walk with the Lord. As we walk with Him we will be shown what is acceptable to Him. The fruit of the Spirit will be manifest in our lives. Seek to walk in the light today! Romans 8:9-11
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. If you believe in Christ and He abides in you then the Spirit of god dwells in You! Oh my brethren what a glorious day it is when Christ gives life to our mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in us!  Psalm 37:1-11
The Heritage of the Righteous and the Calamity of the Wicked Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret--it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more. But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. Do not fret about America, put your trust and faith in God! Repent from your evil ways, delight yourself in the Lord. Commit your ways to His ways. Cease from anger receive peace! Romans 13:8-11
Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. We have all heard "love your neighbor as yourself", do we realize love is the fulfillment of the law and it is NOW time to"awake out of sleep"? The time is short and we must love and be awaken to the law of our Lord and share it with others. I pray today you too will love and awake and encourage others to do the same! |
