1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
“They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts,
“On the day that I make them My special treasure
And I will spare them
As a man spares his own son who serves him.”
We are right where the Lord wants us when we feel like He is all we have left. He loves us too much to let us remain as we are. We are His "special treasure". May God's peace surround you and sanctify your WHOLE spirit, soul, and body!
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
2 Timothy 3:17
that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
We must not be deceived in Christ we are COMPLETE.
We are throughly equipped for every good work He has called us to do. In and of ourselves we can do nothing good only through the shed blood of Christ are we complete.
having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
It is great to know the Word tells us we are adopted as a child of God. We were predestined into that adoption. We did NOT receive the spirit of bondage but the Spirit of "adoption"! Hallelujah He is our daddy. "Abba Father"!
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God,
To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:
Psalm 16:3 As for the saints who are on the earth,
“They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.”
1 Corinthians 1:2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
Who I am in Christ? The Word tells us we are a saint. Like Paul if we are an apostle of Christ; As a saint on earth the Lord delights in us. Oh to be a saint through the Lord Jesus Christ. You too can be a saint today trust in Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:27
Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
We are individuals but also members of His body. How amazing to realize we are one of many. all unique, all special, all a part of Him! Hallelujah!
If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well, let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Have you been asked to not mention the name of Jesus to friends, family or coworkers? Even the disciples where asked this but... their response was "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Can you stand strong in your conviction that the name of Jesus must be spoken? Christ himself said in Mark 8:38 "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”
Stand firm in the Name of Jesus!
Our Lord and our God. Be it done unto us according to your Word!
And the king appointed for them a daily provision of the king’s delicacies and of the wine which he drank, and three years of training for them, so that at the end of that time they might serve before the king.
8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs. And the chief of the eunuchs said to Daniel, “I fear my lord the king, who has appointed your food and drink. For why should he see your faces looking worse than the young men who are your age? Then you would endanger my head before the king.”
17 As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
When we accept God's will as directed by His Word we receive Devine revelation and the reward is joy and peace!
Dear Lord I cling to thee!
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
At all times Lord I must cling to you. You are good your mercy endures forever. Clinging to you makes us be the godly person you made us to be. We must put our hand into yours like a child does his parent. Knowing all is well and you have the very best for us. I love you daddy!
For God’s grace, which brings deliverance, has appeared to all people. It teaches us to renounce godlessness and worldly pleasures, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives now, in this age; while continuing to expect the blessed fulfillment of our certain hope, which is the appearing of the Sh’khinah of our great God and the appearing of our Deliverer, Yeshua the Messiah. He gave himself up on our behalf in order to free us from all violation of Torah and purify for himself a people who would be his own, eager to do good.
These are the things you should say. Encourage and rebuke with full authority; don’t let anyone look down on you.
These are the things we should say.... encourage one another in God's Word. Rebuke the evil and resist Satan's attacks in our lives. Do NOT let anyone look down on you... you are a CHILD of God!
O Lord, our Lord,
How excellent is Your name in all the earth,
Who have set Your glory above the heavens!
Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants
You have ordained strength,
Because of Your enemies,
That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
God made each of us with HONO! Hadar(Honor) to honor, to glorify, to make splendid. As children of the living God we are important; and we need to conduct our lives in a manner that fit's God's view of us as people of honor. God actually crowned man with splendor in spite of our smallness relative to the vast heavens! YOU ARE IMPORTANT!
