Philippians 1:3-11
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace. For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ. And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. Thankfulness is associated with prayer for me. I love this scripture because I know no matter how hard times get I am always thankful that the Lord will complete His work in me and fulfill His glory in my life. Find something to be thankful for! I am very thankful for all who red and believe the Word. #Thankful

Ephesians 4:25-32
Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. "The tongue has the power of life and death." Let everything we say be good and helpful. A word of thanks, note of encouragement, a conversation of thanksgiving, a Thanksgiving dinner; these are some ways we can use the power of life by the words we say, write or do as power of life into someone else life. Are you thankful each day or just on Thanksgiving? Can you make a good change and be thankful every day? Practice giving thanks each day many times a day and see how it changes your attitude, joy, blessing, life. In good times and bad we are thankful for all the Lord does for us! #BeThankful #PracticeThanksgiving #PowerofWords 1 Chronicles 17:16
“Who am I, O Lord God? And what is my house, that You have brought me this far? We all have dreams and goals but what is more important --achieving our hopes and dreams or our love for God? Father, I commit all my hopes and dreams to You. Thank you for bringing me this far. You mean more to me than anything in the world. Psalm 100
Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations. Be thankful every day for His goodness. Shout for joy even in the midst of sorrow! His mercy and love is everlasting. Hallelujah! #rejoice #shouttotheLord 1 Thessalonians 5:15-21
See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. In all things give THANKS! Why because God is good and we must pursue good! It is God's will for us. Rejoice always and PRAY! I give thanks for all of today! #giveThanks #RejoiceAlways #GodisGood 2 Chronicles 30:21
So the children of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with great gladness; and the Levites and the priests praised the Lord day by day, singing to the Lord, accompanied by loud instruments. Leviticus 7:12-15 If a person offers it for giving thanks, he is to offer it with the thanksgiving sacrifice of unleavened cakes mixed with olive oil, matzah spread with olive oil, and cakes made of fine flour mixed with olive oil and fried. With cakes of leavened bread he is to present his offering together with the sacrifice of his peace offerings for giving thanks. From each kind of offering he is to present one as a gift for Adonai; it will belong to the cohen who splashes the blood of the peace offerings against the altar. The meat of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for giving thanks is to be eaten on the day of his offering; he is not to leave any of it until morning. As we continue the Feast of Unleavened Bread we ate thankful for the sacrifice Christ made for us. Leaven is a reminder of sin so as we celebrate unleaven in our lives or NO SIN we REJOICE! 1 Thessalonians 1:2-5
We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God. For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake. Prayer of thanksgiving for brethren is a good example of our commitment to the Lord and those who follow Him. I give thanks today for all of you who follow Him and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Give thanks to all you know today and everyday who labor with love in the sight of the Lord. Jeremiah 29:11-13
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I am so thankful God knows each one of our thoughts and they are for good not evil. His plans are for our well being and our good. Isn't our daddy GRRRREAT!!!! Philippians 4:4-13
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity. Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am so thankful there is NO assembly required for me. My Father in heaven made me perfect. He did all the assembly before I was created. I can cast all my cares on Him. I do not have to be anxious about anything. My Father is praise worthy. I can mediate on His truth that I have received and learned. I can be content in all things and situations. I KNOW I can do al things through Christ who empowers me from within! 2 Timothy 1:5-7
when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Today is Thanksgiving I am so thankful for every gift the Lord gives. The scripture tells us to "stir up" our gifts received from God. As you "stir up" your Thanksgiving meals don't forget to "stir up" your gifts from God. |
