Are you seeking the Lord in all things, all situations? You may ask how can I pray without ceasing? Some only pray when in church; others pray in the morning or in the evening, however, His word says to pray without ceasing. When you allow the Holy Spirit to live in you and through you, it is easy to pray without ceasing. You praise Him for every good thing that happens throughout your day as it happens. You take your thoughts captive and pray His Word over every situation throughout your day. You use your authority through Jesus Christ to bind whatever is not of God throughout your day. That is praying without ceasing! That is giving thanks! That is using His strength! That is reason to REJOICE! SIMPLY GRATEFUL! #Pray

Open your heart and your hands to receive this day gratefully. Look for signs of His abiding Presence for He is with you and watching over you CONTINUALLY. Thank Him for the joyful days but take His hand on the difficult days with trusting dependence knowing He will HELP you. There is a difference between head knowledge and heart/Gods knowledge. His ways and His thoughts are so much higher. When we put our trust in Him and let Him open or close those doors, let Him guide and direct your steps, they usually twist and turn in directions we never would have dreamed and the outcome is always amazing, always perfect because they came from a Perfectly, Amazing God. SIMPLY GRATEFUL! #Wisdom&Knowledge The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. You are the son/daughter of the Most High, King of Kings, Lord of Lords. Just as we are with our children; we would dong anything and everything to save them and yet trusting in Jesus to keep them safe and let them go to find their own way. Just as we are with our own children; we speak softly, with love to quiet their hearts in the midst of their troubles. Just as we are with our children; we take great delight in their accomplishments. And just as we are with our children; we have joy in our hearts for the life God has given us to protect and cherish. Just as our children turn to us, when we seek His Presence, He loves you, He helps you and takes great delight in you. . .only More. SIMPLY GRATEFUL! Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. James 1:2-3
Are you facing an "impossible" situation? The Word says to "Count it all joy". You may ask how and why should I have joy in the midst of my circumstance? Because, His Word tells us, "We know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance". Because we can have complete confidence in Him by turning to Him immediately with a hopeful heart. Acknowledge you total inadequacy and cling to Him --relying on His infinite sufficiency because ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD! SIMPLY GRATEFUL! #Joy Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:29-30
When we are in the world with our mannerisms and lifestyle, our burdens become heavy and trying to follow Christ is hard. But when Christ is in us and we are obedient to His Word we become gentle and humble and His yoke is easy and our burdens become light. Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. Habakkuk 3:18
Are you joyful no matter your circumstance? We can be joyful because He is our Savior. You can nourish this joy by thanking Him through our actions, our singing, our written, or our spoken or whispered words! SIMPLY GRATEFUL! #Joyful Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. But I trust in You, O Lord; I say, "You are my God." Thankfulness opens the door to my Presence. Though I am always with you, I have gone to great measures to preserve your freedom of choice. I have placed a door between you and Me, and I have empowered you to open or close that door,. There are many ways to open it, but a grateful attitude is one of the most effective. Thankfulness is built on a substructure of trust. When thankful words stick in your throat, you need to check up on your foundation of trust. When thankfulness flows freely from your heart and lips, let your gratitude draw you closer to Me. I want you to learn the art of giving thanks in all circumstances. See how many times you can thank Me daily; this will awaken your awareness to a multitude of blessings. It will also cushion the impact of trials when they come against you. Practice My Presence by practicing the discipline of thankfulness. Jesus Calling Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor may covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10
Do you sometimes feel that God has left you? Your in this deep valley and can't seem to find your way out? I have found over the years that whenever I am in that place, it is ALWAYS because I have allowed sin, circumstances, busyness in my life and turned away from Him. I have quit making time for Him and allowed the trials of life take over. But His Word says, I will never leave you nor forsake you. If you find yourself in this situation, get back into the Word. Make your time with Him a priority and you will soon find that He never left you. He was there all along, just waiting for you to trust and turn back to Him. SIMPLY GRATEFUL! #Compassion You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16
Are you letting your Light shine? When people see you are they seeing the Light of Jesus in your face, in your speech, in your mannerisms? When we truly have the Light of Jesus in our hearts, it shines forth and it brightens up the world by reflecting who He is. So hold His hand in joyful trust, for He never leaves your side and let His Light shine forth, to spill over upon everyone you come into contact with. SIMPLY GRATEFUL! #Light |
