Romans 4:18-25
18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” 19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. 22 And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 23 Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, 24 but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, 25 who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification. Abraham did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God. Yes we too need faith but in whom? Faith in ourselves? Faith in things? Faith in the Word of God? We are overcomers IF we do not waver in unbelief regarding God's promises. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God! #GodsPromises #FaithfromGod

Psalm 100
Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;[a] We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations. Worship the Lord your God! Make a shout for joy! Sing a new song! For the Lord reigns! Hallelujah! Every day we should shout for joy to the Lord! Worship Him in truth! If you need help look to His Word. His gates into His presence s always open. Be thankful and BLESS His name! Joel 2:1-5
The Day of the Lord 1 Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand: 2 A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations. 3 A fire devours before them, And behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, And behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them. 4 Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; And like swift steeds, so they run. 5 With a noise like chariots Over mountaintops they leap, Like the noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble, Like a strong people set in battle array. What will happen when the trumpet sounds? Are you ready? Is everyone you care about ready? The trumpet will sound! The Lord will return! We must be ready. We must share the Lord with ALL and choose repentance and salvation. Believe in the Lord and Receive His gift. Ask for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and witness to others. The trumpet will sound! The Day of the Lord is at hand! #TrumpetSound #Lord'sReturn #SoundtheAlarm Daniel 1:8-15
8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. 9 Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs. 10 And the chief of the eunuchs said to Daniel, “I fear my lord the king, who has appointed your food and drink. For why should he see your faces looking worse than the young men who are your age? Then you would endanger my head before the king.” 11 So Daniel said to the steward whom the chief of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, 12 “Please test your servants for ten days, and let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink. 13 Then let our appearance be examined before you, and the appearance of the young men who eat the portion of the king’s delicacies; and as you see fit, so deal with your servants.” 14 So he consented with them in this matter, and tested them ten days. 15 And at the end of ten days their features appeared better and fatter in flesh than all the young men who ate the portion of the king’s delicacies. Have you purposed in your heart to obey God? Daniel chose not to defile himself but obey God. He had favor and goodwill given by the Lord and was given the opportunity to prove his obedience to God would bring about good. His test proved he was fit for the work of the Lord. Read the "Rest of the Story" in Daniel 2 to see how the Lord used Daniel and how God was glorified in the changing of lives. You 2 can be used by God if we purpose in our heart to obey God and follow through with the actions. #Obedience #GlorifiytheLord #FavorwithGodandMan Galatians 5:16-23
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Yes everyday we can choose to be ready for change. Some days it is very evident we must change in order for our circumstances to change. We must choose to "Walk in the Spirit". If we walk in the spirit and NOT fulfill the lust of the flesh, we will experience the fruit of the Spirit. Self control is one fruit that shows me IF I am walking in the spirit or lusting after the flesh. Are you ready for change? Have you checked your walk today? You can choose to let the fruits be fulfilled in your life so others will see Christ's victory in you life OR you can choose to stay in the same rut! #WalkintheSpirit #Ready4Change #SelfControl Psalm 59:16-17
But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble. To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defense, My God of mercy. Did you begin your day right today? David knew the right way to begin his day. Through worshiping and singing out loud about God's goodness, David wanted to walk in God's presence from the moment he got out of bed. He wanted to be clothed in God's power and strength. David wrote this under incredible pressure but he had learned the power that can be released when we worship God, even in the midst of trouble. #RightWay #WorshiptheLord #HisStrength |
