Psalm 142
A Plea for Relief from Persecutors I cry out to the Lord with my voice; With my voice to the Lord I make my supplication. I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare before Him my trouble. When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, Then You knew my path. In the way in which I walk They have secretly set a snare for me. Look on my right hand and see, For there is no one who acknowledges me; Refuge has failed me; No one cares for my soul. I cried out to You, O Lord: I said, “You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living. Attend to my cry, For I am brought very low; Deliver me from my persecutors, For they are stronger than I. Bring my soul out of prison, That I may praise Your name; The righteous shall surround me, For You shall deal bountifully with me.” Have you cried out to the Lord? Are you felling persecuted today by family, friends, other believers? Pour our your heart to God. He knows how you feel. But know that God loves you and is waiting for you to ask Him for relief. Why? So when relief comes we know it's from the Lord. We will praise Him as He gives us strength to carry on. We show Him our love for Him by forgiving our persecutors, praying for them and being filled with joy and peace knowing He is in control and "All is well". The Lord is our deliverer, our provider, our strength, and our refuge. Be a blessing and you will be blessed. #Persecuted #Forgiven #Delivered #BeaBlessing #BeBlessed

Revelation 2:12-17
The Compromising Church “And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, ‘These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”’ Upon receiving Christ and being an overcomer we have a "New Name"! Here the Lord promises to give the faithful a white stone. This points to our freedom in Christ a "non guilty" verdict. Who do you know that needs that "white stone"? Is the Lord asking you to speak and share His love with someone today? #NotGuilty #overcomer #OurNewName #ChristinYou Nehemiah 8:1-3,5,6,8
Now all the people gathered together as one man in the open square that wasin front of the Water Gate; and they told Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded Israel. 2 So Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly of men and women and all who could hear with understanding on the first day of the seventh month. 3 Then he read from it in the open square that was in front of the Water Gate from morning until midday, before the men and women and those who could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law. 5 And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people, for he was standingabove all the people; and when he opened it, all the people stood up. 6 And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. Then all the people answered, “Amen, Amen!” while lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground. 8 So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading. Back in 444 B.C. Ezra started reading the Law (the only Bible they had back then) standing on a platform in front of the people for the next 6 hours. The first Bible Reading Marathon recored in the Bible. Yes God's Word going forth out loud over the congregation was important back then and is still vitally important today. They stood in reverence of the Word (Law), they praised the Lord, and bowed down in humble worship! They listened carefully as the scripture was read and explained. What an amazing day as "the Lord had commanded for Israel" was read aloud inside Jerusalem's newly built walls! Ezra's example reminds us that we too can B used by God to declare(read out loud) His Word and that it will have effect on our city's for it does not return to Him void but accomplishes what He pleases (His purpose and plan)and shall prosper in it.
