Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil. The whole book of Eccelesiastes concludes with a very wise over view for our life. "Fear God, Keep His commandments", in other words Hear and Obey! Today my prayer for you is that as we continue hearing God's Word we will be obedient! 1 John 4:12-16
Seeing God Through Love No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. God requires us to love one another. He gives us His spirit when we abide in Him. We must confess that Jesus is the Son of God. We who abide in Love abides in God and God in us! 1 Samuel 26:10-12
David said furthermore, “As the Lord lives, the Lord shall strike him, or his day shall come to die, or he shall go out to battle and perish. The Lord forbid that I should stretch out my hand against the Lord’s anointed. But please, take now the spear and the jug of water that are by his head, and let us go.” So David took the spear and the jug of water by Saul’s head, and they got away; and no man saw or knew it or awoke. For they were all asleep, because a deep sleep from the Lord had fallen on them. Who is the Lord's anointed? In this scripture David knew who the Lord had anointed even though Saul did not act like it at the time he was still anointed by the Lord. We too must be sure who the Lord has anointed and who he has not and be very careful of our actions. Always ask the Lord before we act upon our fleshly desires. Deuteronomy 6:1-9
The Greatest Commandment “Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the Lord your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the Lord God of your fathers has promised you—‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’ “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. God gives us commandments to live by for our benefit to help us and guide us in the way we should go. His love language to us if we "Hear and obey"! We don't have enough words to tell the Lord how much we love Him but we can show Him by surrendering our will to His. Surrender is God's love language. Psalm 32:1-7
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long. For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him. You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah Today be joyful that when you ask God to forgive you He does! He is our joy and the rock of our salvation! Hallelujah!! ![]() Ephesians 5:22-33 Marriage—Christ and the Church Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. Family is very important and the Word go the Lord instructs us how to be a family of God. Let's all allow God's grace to help us be that kind of family! Jeremiah 17:7-8
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. Trust in the Lord brings firmly rooted tree nourished by His living water.(The Word) Keep in the Word, we need watered! Focus, repetition, and intensity are steps we take to move truth from our heads to our hearts. The command to look intently and to meditate continuously would be examples of using focus and repetition. Repeating healing prayers pours divine light continually into our beings, until we are entirely sanctified – spirit, soul, and body. We become the radiance of His glory because we have bathed ourselves in His glory continuously. Darkness, sickness, and demons have now fled because of the light of His glory.
James 1:25 Look Intently But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. Philippians 4:8 Mediate on These Things Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there isany virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Blessing and Admonition Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we move the truth of God's Word from our heads to our heart we are increasing in His blessings and it overflows into others lives. We need to continue looking into the Word for more truth and mediate on all truth revealed by the Holy Spirit and be grateful for our blessings so we can bless others. Luke 9:1-6
Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece. “Whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere. Are you being sent by God? He gave you power and authority to preach the gospel, heal the sick, bind up the broken hearted! Hallelujah!! Go forth and if you are not received shake off the dust. |
