Deuteronomy 28: 1-6
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lordyour God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God: “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. Do we really understand the rewards of obedience? Like a parent we give good things to our children when they obey. Our heavenly father does even more! Hear and obey, trust and obey there really is NO other way to be happy in Jesus!

Psalm 138:2Amplified Bible Holy Spirit guided King David to write these words...
I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have (esteemed) exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name! God's Word is exalted above His Name! Let's speak His Word not our own and encourage others to do the same. Psalm 150:1[ Let All Things Praise the Lord ]
Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! In all things let's praise the Lord! ![]() Mark 12:31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Who is your neighbor? The person next door? The friend at work or play? The stranger you haven't meet? The enemy of your past? I believe all of the above and more. Will you choose to love not hate? To love not fight? To love not judge? To encourage not condemn? To have compassion not pity? To share your testimony of God's love not keep silent? To be His witness to the nations? The choice is yours! What do you choose? Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise. As I focus on the wonders of life, touch, smell, hear, see, taste, laugh and love I see the heart of God searching for each one of us to seek Him first. May you continue to experience God's love every single moment of every day! Proverbs 29:2 reminds us, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan” (nrsv).
Noah Webster, a Founding Father and educator, offered a similar warning: Let it be impressed on your mind that God commands you to choose for rulers just men who will rule in the fear of God (Exodus 18:21). … If the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will so be corrupted … If government fails to secure public prosperity and happiness, it must be because the citizens neglect the Divine commands, and elect bad men to make and administer the laws. copied from article by John Bornschein, Vice Chairman. National Day of Prayer Today and every day we need to remember al of God's Word and our responsibility to obey.
