Joy in the Fellowship of God

Psalm 63:1-7
O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.
So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.
When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You in the night watches.
Because You have been my help,
Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.

I am filled with joy in the presence of God!  His fellowship with me even in the night watches fills my heart with joy!  His love abounds.  I will bless Him forever.

In Returning We Rest

Isaiah 30:15-17
For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel:
“In returning and rest you shall be saved;
In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”
But you would not,
And you said, “No, for we will flee on horses”--
Therefore you shall flee!
And, “We will ride on swift horses”--
Therefore those who pursue you shall be swift!
One thousand shall flee at the threat of one,
At the threat of five you shall flee,
Till you are left as a pole on top of a mountain
And as a banner on a hill.

In returning to America we shall rest.  In quietness and confidence we shall be strong.  We have had a very blessed time in Kenya this past week.  Tonight is our last night.  We return to rest and have confidence in the Lord He shall renew our strength.

Boast in Your Weakness To God be the Glory!

2 Corinthians 11:24-33
Five times I received “forty lashes less one” from the Jews.  Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked. I spent a night and a day in the open sea.  In my many travels I have been exposed to danger from rivers, danger from robbers, danger from my own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in the city, danger in the desert, danger at sea, danger from false brothers.  I have toiled and endured hardship, often not had enough sleep, been hungry and thirsty, frequently gone without food, been cold and naked.  And besides these external matters, there is the daily pressure of my anxious concern for all the congregations.  Who is weak without my sharing his weakness? Who falls into sin without my burning inside?

If I must boast, I will boast about things that show how weak I am.  God the Father of the Lord Yeshua — blessed be he forever — knows that I am not lying!  When I was in Dalmanuta, the governor under King Aretas had the city of Dalmanuta guarded in order to arrest me;  but I was lowered in a basket through an opening in the wall and escaped his clutches.

When we are weak God is strong!  If we boast about anything boast in the things that show our weakness and God's strength.  Without God we are nothing But.. with Him all things are possible.  Be strong in the Lord!  Walk in victory!

God Has NOT Forgotten You

Psalm 77:10-15
Has God forgotten to be compassionate?
Has he in anger withheld his mercy?” (Selah)
Then I add, “That’s my weakness --
[supposing] the Most High’s right hand could change.”
So I will remind myself of Yah’s doings;
yes, I will remember your wonders of old.
I will meditate on your work
and think about what you have done.
God, your way is in holiness.
What god is as great as God?
You are the God who does wonders,
you revealed your strength to the peoples.

God has not forgotten you or me.  Our weakness is in thinking he has changed...But..God!  Remember His wonders of your past.  Mediate on what He has done for you. He is the god who reveals His strength to us through our weakness. Oh what an awesome God he is!  Walk in Victory!

Onward and ever Upward !

Luke 12:4-7
Jesus Teaches the Fear of God
“And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!
“Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God.
 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

What's your motto?  Do Not fear the things of this world, FEAR GOD!  When challenges come your way have a moto of "Onward and ever Upward".  He God brings you to it He will bring you through it!"

Delivered from the Power of Darkness

Colossians 1:13-18
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,  in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.  For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.  And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.  And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

I am so grateful we have been delivered from the power of darkness.  We have forgiveness of sin through the blood of Christ.  He is, was and forever will be!  We were crated by Him and for Him! Hallelujah He has preeminence!

God Has a Message for YOU!

Psalm 119:97-104
Oh, how I love Your law!
It is my meditation all the day.
You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies;
For they are ever with me.
I have more understanding than all my teachers,
For Your testimonies are my meditation.
I understand more than the ancients,
Because I keep Your precepts.
I have restrained my feet from every evil way,
That I may keep Your word.
I have not departed from Your judgments,
For You Yourself have taught me.
How sweet are Your words to my taste,
Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Through Your precepts I get understanding;
Therefore I hate every false way.
 Every time you open and read the Word remember God has a message for you.  Will you receive His message today?  He loves you and loves when you spend time with Him, mediate on His Word and hear His heart.  It beats for you!

Jeremiah 29:11-13
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

I am so thankful God knows each one of our thoughts and they are for good not evil.  His plans are for our well being and our good.  Isn't our daddy GRRRREAT!!!!

Joy is the Daughter of Calm

Ezekiel 34:25-31
“I will make a covenant of peace with them, and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.  I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.  Then the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase. They shall be safe in their land; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bands of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them.  And they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, nor shall beasts of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them afraid.  I will raise up for them a garden of renown, and they shall no longer be consumed with hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the Gentiles anymore.  Thus they shall know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, and they, the house of Israel, are My people,” says the Lord God.’
“You are My flock, the flock of My pasture; you are men, and I amyour God,” says the Lord God.

The showers of blessings the Lord gives is full of joy which brings calmness.  Oh, receive the showers of our Lord's blessings today!

Sharp and Ready

Ephesians 1:15-18
For this reason, ever since I heard about your trust in the Lord Yeshua and your love for all God’s people,  I have not stopped giving thanks for you. In my prayers I keep asking  the God of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the glorious Father, to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you will have full knowledge of him.  I pray that he will give light to the eyes of your hearts, so that you will understand the hope to which he has called you, what rich glories there are in the inheritance he has promised his people,

We must be sharp and ready to receive what the Lord freely gives.  Pray for each other, love all people, give thanks, receive spirit of wisdom and revelation to have full knowledge of God.  Let our hearts be open, our eyes full of His light and understanding to the hope to which we are called.
